Courtney Paul New York City

Courtney has over 10 years of personal training and group exercise experience at world-class health and fitness organizations.  He is certified by the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) and has impeccable movement techniques.  Courtney worked for two years at David Barton Gym in Manhattan as a personal trainer and group instructor where he taught and tweaked the design of the following classes: Guns, Assolutely Abulous, Pain and Pleasure, Asphalt Abs, Spring Training, Lactic Acid Breakthrough (LAB), and Barton Biking.  He authored Junk, a class that focused on legs, glutes, and abs, and Power Hour, a full-body workout with light weights.  He also re-envisioned Rope Burn, a cardiovascular class with jump ropes and weights, and LAB, in which clients would pick two body parts and perform multiple drop-sets.  The New York Post named the LAB class the “most hardcore class in the city.”  Prior to working at David Barton Gym, Courtney was a trainer at Urban Body Fitness in Atlanta, GA where he taught abdominals and bootcamp classes.   

Courtney has a degree in Visual Arts from Georgia Perimeter College and a degree in Graphic and Visual Arts from the University of New Orleans.  He is a veteran sportsman with collegiate experience in cheerleading.  As a trainer, Courtney insists on accountability and progress, while still bringing levity and fun to the workout.  


Ngozi Anyanwu New York City

Ngozi has been a personal and group exercise instructor for several years. She most recently trained at Equinox Fitness Club on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She is an Equinox Fitness Club Tier II Trainer.  Ngozi has taught a variety of group classes including cardio, full body strength, abs and conditioning. She trains many of her personal clients using only their natural body weight. Ngozi is also a certified kettlebell instructor and has an extensive background in boxing and powerlifting.  Ngozi is an avid runner and also enjoys playing basketball.  Ngozi has a great attitude and brings a lot of enthusiasm, creativity and energy to every one of her workouts.  She is one of our most popular bootcamp instructors known for her challenging non-stop workout pace and her amazing personality.
Ngozi has a B.A. in theater arts from Point Park University. She also taught African dance in college.  Ngozi is a talented actress and is currently pursuing her M.A. in theatre arts from New York University. 

Jaimie Kelton New York City

Jaimie has been dedicated to the fitness industry for many years as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. She has previously worked for Equinox and North Beach Pilates. Jaimie is a certified trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a tier 1 trainer through EFTI and is also a certified level 2 intenSati leader. Jaimie brings passion and enthusiasm to her group workouts, blending strength training and heart pumping moves while encouraging her clients to constantly strive for a stronger, more powerful self. When not teaching bootcamp you can find Jaimie in the gym training private clients or teaching aerobics and dance to highschool girls in the Bronx.
Jaimie grew up in San Francisco and traveled across the country to attend The Boston Conservatory where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance, Music and Theater. In addition to her passion for fitness, she is a professional musical theater performer and continues to perform in shows around the world.

Daniel Osach New York City

Daniel has several years of group fitness instruction experience. He has previously instructed such classes as cardio conditioning, pump, abs and Hatha yoga for David Barton Gym and Club H. He is a certified instructor completing a 200 hour certification program through the Yoga Alliance accredited school from Atmanada Yoga Sequence, Center Point Studio in New York City. He has also lived and worked in Costa Rica as an instructor at the Ranchos Ituana Resort where he honed his teaching skills and learned new styles and techniques. Daniel brings a lot of caring and passion to his workouts.
Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Vermont, School of Arts and Sciences. He also holds a minor in Community Development and Applied Economics; Agriculture and Resource Entrepreneurship.

Laticia Harrell New York City

Laticia has several years of personal training and group exercise experience at world-class health and fitness organizations. She is certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and the TRX Suspension Trainer for Group Fitness. Laticia can be found at Club H Fitness locations across Manhattan as an Elite level personal trainer and group instructor where she teaches the following classes: Pump, Urban Rebounding, Abs Back & Butt, ABSolutely, Pump & Jump. She created Inferno, a fast paced, high intensity interval class that focuses on increasing athletic performance and burning fat, based on the scientifically proven Tabata protocal.
Laticia has a B.A. in Retail Marketing and Management from Johnson and Wales University. She is a National NPC Figure competitor and fitness model. Laticia has graced the pages of Oxygen magazine and can be seen in several fitness videos. As a trainer, Laticia’s philosophy is quality over quantity to achieve desired results, while keeping workouts varied, challenging and fun.

Aubrie Dellinger New York City

Aubrie has been part of the fitness industry for many years. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and has trained clients in conditioning, weight training, plyometrics and other various techniques. Aubrie has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at top New York City gyms such as Club H Fitness and Velocity Sports Performance. Her strong background in athletics includes playing Division I basketball in college where she was team captain, challenging her teammates to the edge on the court by leading them in team workouts on the court and in the weight room. Her basketball background drove her to pursue her career in fitness. From her team athletics experiences, she brings her “MVP” and “Most Spirited” attitude to her training.
Aubrie graduated from Manhattan College with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She took classes such as group fitness, team sports, exercise prescription, and exercise physiology. She worked just as hard on the court as she did off the court which makes her a very well rounded, educated trainer. Aubrie is also involved in the community, serving as a counselor for several basketball camps and volunteering for Special Olympics.

Frank Salzone New York City

Born and raised in New York, Frank found his passion and calling in the fitness industry several years ago. Since becoming a certified personal trainer with the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), Frank has quickly become a well respected professional in the fitness industry. He is currently a Tier 3 personal trainer at Equinox and holds certifications in kickboxing, kettelbells, TRX, sports nutrition, youth fitness and pre/post natal. Frank is also a group fitness and cycling instructor at Equinox, 24 Hour Fitness and Plus One, with a certification from the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and MAD DOGG Spinning. Frank teaches group fitness classes in cycling, kickboxing, Cardio & Strength Conditioning, Abs & Gluteus, Total Body Sculpting and ViPR. Frank has been quoted in Men's Journal, Vogue and Out Magazine and has appeared on The Today Show. He completed his first marathon in NYC this past year on November 7th 2010 while raising money and running for Team LIVESTRONG. Frank is a big believer in Paying-It-Forward and giving back to the community and those less fortunate.
 
Frank holds a B.A. in Music Business from Baruch College in NYC and is currently studying for his CSCS and plans to go back for his Master's Degree in Exercise Science. Frank credits his success to his belief that the mind is stronger than the body and to reach your fitness goals you must first believe in yourself and not give up. There are no mistakes or failures, but rather, learning experiences that makes us wiser and stronger people. Frank also believes that staying in shape and being healthy is a part of life that should be a positive, inspiring and motivating experience and something that you should have fun doing.

Rachel Lavin New York City

Rachel has been dedicated to the fitness industry for over 13 years. She has been certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Group Exercise Instructor as well as a Certified Personal Trainer. She also is certified in FMS (Functional Movement Screen). She also has Pre-Post Natal Fitness Certification. Rachel has taught group exercise including fitness conditioning and strengthening, dance, weight training, aquatics and aerobics. In Oregon, she was a group instructor and personal trainer at 24-Hour Fitness, Focus on Wellness and Club Sport. In Manhattan, Rachel was previously a trainer for Equinox and is currently a trainer at Club H Fitness. She brings great enthusiasm and energy to workouts with her main objective of ensuring that clients reach their fitness goals and learn to live healthier.
Rachel graduated from Portland College with a degree in Fitness Technology. Selected coursework included Exercise Science I & II, Fitness Assessment I, II & III, Injury Prevention, Fitness Promotion, Analysis of Movement, and Anatomy & Physiology.

Sarah Ann Corkum New York City

Sarah Ann has been part of the fitness industry for several years as a personal trainer, fitness instructor, and advisor. She is accredited from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), CPR/AED certified and is Pre and Post-Natal Certifed from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University with a Dual BA in Psychology and Theatre. 
Sarah Ann has completed five triathlons including the New York City Triathlon and one 1/2 Ironman (70.3). She is a graduate of the Upright Citizen's Brigade Improv training school and works regularly in television and film. She also guided first-time triathletes and seasoned athletes alike as a mentor with Team In Training, an organization to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Be prepared to work hard and have fun. Her training philosophy is to make your health your priority and passion. Love what you do and work hard to achieve it. Small goals make big results. 

Whitney Jacobs New York City

Whitney has been a successful personal trainer and group exercise instructor for many years.  She currently trains at Equinox Fitness Club on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.  She is Aerobic & Fitness Association of America (AFFA) certified and an EFTI Tier II Certified Trainer.  Whitney is a lifelong athlete.  She grew up playing soccer and is currently the head varsity girls soccer coach at Trevor Day School.  Whitney is also a Pilates instructor and teaches Yoga through a company called Wing Span Arts which brings the arts and fitness education into the public school system.  Whitney is also a former dance instructor for the Contemporary Dance Theatre in Ohio.  Whitney is a tough bootcamp and Vinyasa yoga instructor and brings a ton of challenge and creativity to her workouts.  

Whitney has a strong athletic background, graduating with a BFA in Dance from Ohio University.  She studied choreography, performance, anatomy, kinesiology, somatic disciplines such as Pilates and Yoga, as well as nutrition and fitness. 


Heidi Tinter New York City

Heidi has been training in New York City for 10 years and is a former nationally ranked athlete. She was a top level trainer at Equinox for 3 years before she started a private training business downtown in 2004.  Some of her clients include a former Olympian, a former professional tennis player, marathon runners, and former college athletes. Heidi has a long list of athletic endeavors.   She was a regional figure skating competitor for 8 years and an instructor for 2 years, downhill ski racer for 2 years, and captain of the NYU fencing team for 4 years, as well as a nationally ranked women’s saber fencer.   Currently Heidi is a competitive runner with the New York Road Runners.
Heidi is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), certified USA Weightlifting level 1 coach, pre/post natal certified, and was a gait analyst for the New York Road Runners while at Equinox. Heidi holds a BA Honors in History from New York University.

Lamar McKay New York City

Lamar has more than 10 years of experience as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer at high end fitness facilities such as Club H. He is certified through the American Council of Exercise (ACE), Aerobic & Fitness Association of America (AFFA) and certified as an EFTI Tier III Certified Trainer. 
Lamar is an athlete for life. He continues to study Brazilian Jujitsu(BJJ), wing chun ,fencing, and karate. He also was a collegiate runner and football player. Lamar is currently a Tough Mudder competitor and a weightlifter. He is also developing a fight conditioning course for several of the companies he works with based on BJJ, boxing, wing chun and muay thai boxing.
Lamar loves to challenge his bootcampers with a focus on technique.

Adrienne Misko New York City

Adrienne is a seasoned personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She holds her certification from the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Adrienne has trained at Equinox Fitness Clubs where she assessed clients’ health and fitness levels by administering the FMS tests and used her creativity and knowledge to create comprehensive, individualized programs for each client to meet his or her fitness goals. Some of Adrienne’s earlier training was in competitive gymnastics and she then went on to further study dance.
While at Ohio University obtaining her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography, Adrienne studied intensively anatomy/kinesiology, somatic disciplines, pilates, yoga, movement education, nutrition and weight management, alignment/mind body centering, choreography, performance and creative movement and also taught non-major dance courses. Upon graduation Adrienne joined and performed in two professional modern dance companies, MADCO and Dance Alloy Theater. While at Dance Alloy Theater she was on the dance faculty and helped design and teach creative movement classes for the Pittsburgh Public School outreach programs. Currently she is pursuing certification in Pilates and will be training at Ground Floor Exercise.

Guillermo Dodd New York City

Gui comes to us from his native Panama, Central America and has been a group fitness instructor for over 15 years. Gui is a certified trainer by both the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Gui has worked as a group instructor for Club H and David Barton Gym, leading full body fitness classes. He also worked for Serge instructing step aerobics and dance aerobics. In Panama, he worked as a group fitness instructor at The Coliseum Gym and The Panama Hotel SPA where taught beginner, intermediate, and advanced level High-Low Impact Aerobics, Step Aerobics, Aqua Fitness, Body Sculpting (weights, bands, tubing, bars, ball, etc), Circuit Training and Toning and Stretching classes. Gui brings a tremendous amount of creativity and enthusiasm to his classes! His great sense of humor makes his challenging workouts fun.
 
Gui received his Licentiate Degree in Computer Science Engineering From the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP), Panama City, Panama. Gui has a personal passion for weight lifting and enjoys long bike rides in the city. He loves the dynamic of group fitness and helping others achieve their fitness goals. 

Rebecca Kennedy New York City

Rebecca has been in the industry several years and is a successful group fitness instructor and personal trainer. Originally from Boston, Rebecca is a former New England Patriots Cheerleader. With a 15 year background in gymnastics, a professional dancer and a fitness model, Rebecca has formulated her classes into a dynamic, high-intensity and effective workout for all. You can find her teaching Intense 60, Pilates, Abs Back and Butt, bootcamp and more at Club H Fitness. Rebecca is certified by AFAA and has received her Bachelors in Dance with a minor in Business from Dean College.

Nicole Caruth New York City

Nicole has been a successful group fitness instructor and personal trainer for over 5 years. She currently instructs Spin and Rope Burn at the David Barton Gym (DBG) in Chelsea, where she has an excellent record with clients and a keen following. Before joining DBG, she served as the athletic trainer for the Bard College men’s volleyball team (NCAA Division III). Nicole holds certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and Mad Dogg Athletics. She brings a high level of professionalism and loads of energy to her classes, ensuring that people have a good time while exercising safely. As she works enthusiastically to help her clients reach their goals, she recently set one of her own: to complete her first triathlon by the end of 2009.
The California Bay Area native holds an M.A. in curatorial studies from Bard College, and a B.A. in art history from San Francisco State University. By day, she is a curator, writer and art critic, sometimes writing about food related issues. She is especially interested in food education, and teaching low-incomecommunities how to prepare healthy and affordable meals.

Tanya Chaly New York City

Tanya comes to us from her native Australia and has been a successful personal and group trainer for several years.  She is currently an instructor at Club H in New York City where she teaches Total Body Fitness, Power Pump, Cardio Pump, Kickboxing, Abs, sub Spin, and Rebounding. She also trains several personal clients. By background, Tanya is an athlete and has excelled in water sports. She has competed in two swim marathons. Tanya is very passionate about fitness and brings high energy to her workouts. She loves the dynamic of group fitness and gets great pleasure from helping people achieve their fitness goals.
Tanya is Aerobic & Fitness Association of America (AFFA) certified. She also holds certifications in Rebounding and Jump Rope.  Tanya holds both a B.A. in Fine Arts and a post graduate degree in Fine Arts (painting) from the University of New South Wales, College of Fine Arts (UNSW COFA) in Sydney, Australia. 

Adriano Martins New York City

Adriano comes to us from his native Brazil where he used to teach bootcamps on the beach for Reebok Sports Club in São Paulo. He has also been a group trainer for Compania Athletica. Adriano brings lots of enthusiasm and energy to his classes. Adriano studied exercise physiology, so he also has impeccable movement techniques and readily helps you make any corrections during your workouts.
Adriano received his B.S. in Exercise Physiology from São Paulo State University (UNESP), São Paulo, Brazil. He received his M.S. in Pharmacology and Physiology from the Medical Science Institute University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas, SP, Brazil. And he received his Ph.D. in Human Physiology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (USP), São Paulo, Brazil. Adriano is currently doing his postdoctoral fellowship researching the molecular biology of calcium in skeletal and cardiac muscle at New Jersey Medical School.     

Krystal Camosse-Dwyer New York City

Krystal has been a group exercise trainer for many years. She is certified by the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in group exercise instruction. Krystal currently teaches multiple group fitness classes at Club H Fitness in midtown, including a Pure Strength class and Urban Rebounding. She has been technically trained in many genres of dance for well over 15 years. The discipline she has developed and instilled over the years through her dedication to dance and working out, has helped her create the perfect class. Her classes are about progression, creating new fitness goals and reaching them, while encompassing fun, high energy and challenge. 
Krystal received her Bachelors of Arts in Dance with a minor in Psychology from Dean College.  Most recently she stepped off a 7-month tour dancing on a cruise ship, where she continued to keep her physique and stamina through her fitness training. She is currently training for her first marathon with Team in Training. Krystal is active in multiple dance companies in New York City. She enjoys dancing, instructing fitness, working out, community service, and modeling. 

Charles Neal New York City

Charles is a former American Gladiator.  He was the 1991 American Gladiators Tour Champion and a member of the 1993 American Gladiator team.  Charles has been a personal and group trainer for 19 years.  His certifications include International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Perform Better functional training series.  Charles has specializations in performance training, stretching and kickboxing.  He currently trains out of Club H in midtown Manhattan.

Charles' training philosophy is health first.  Before you can reach your full potential, see where you are and then plan an attack.  Success in training is like success in life.  "Fail to plan and you can plan to fail."


Christie Cahill New York City

Christie has been part of the fitness industry for several years as a top group fitness instructor at Club H and Evolution, with classes including Urban Rebounding, Abs, Back & Butt, Pump, Absolutely, Conditioning, and Hip Hop. She is certified by the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She also has certification in Urban Rebounding. Christie has an extensive background in dance with 20 years of experience and this is what guides her class structure for a high-intense, fun, but disciplined work out, with non-stop energy.
Christie holds a B.A. in dance from Dean College and trained at the Alvin Ailey School in the Independent Study Program. She has a business minor along with her dance degree, and her studies included anatomy, kinesiology, choreography, performance, pedagogy, and all genres of dance.
